Product Manager – DEX & Automations
As a Product Manager, you will own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for two equally strategic pillars: proactive digital employee experience monitoring & IT workflow automation.
TeamViewer provides a leading Digital Workplace platform that connects people with technology—enabling, improving and automating digital processes to make work work better. Our software solutions harness the power of AI and shape the future of digitalization.
We believe that our diverse teams and strong company culture are key to the success of our products and technologies, that hundreds of millions of users around the world and around 645,000 customers across all industries rely on. With more than 1,900 employees worldwide, we celebrate the unique perspectives and talents that each individual brings to the table and foster a dynamic work environment where new ideas thrive. Are you ready to join our team and make an impact?
Responsibilities
We are looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of the DEX Monitoring and Automations area within TeamViewer ONE. This is a high-impact, highly visible role at the centre of TeamViewer's Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) strategy — the journey from reactive IT to fully autonomous endpoint operations.
You will own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for two equally strategic pillars: proactive digital employee experience monitoring (real-time telemetry, DEX scoring, AI-driven insights) and IT workflow automation (the DEX Hub automation library, Tia Scripting, SCALE instructions, and remediation workflows). Working closely with Engineering, UX, Data, Customer Success, Sales, and GTM teams, you will define clear requirements, deliver iterative value, and create measurable outcomes for both IT administrators and the employees they support.
DEX Monitoring & Insights
Define and execute the product roadmap for real-time DEX telemetry, endpoint health monitoring, and experience scoring, evolving the DEX Score to reflect true user-centric performance during live usage.
Drive the development of AI-powered insights that transform raw telemetry into normalized, actionable intelligence — enabling IT teams to detect, investigate, and remediate issues before employees are impacted.
Own the Tia Reporting capability, enabling self-service conversational reporting and dynamic dashboards that replace static analytics with real-time, natural-language-driven insights.
Expand DEX visibility beyond the desktop by leading the strategy for DEX for Mobile (Android and iOS), Exoprise integration for network and SaaS performance monitoring, and future endpoint architecture investments.
Define and track key experience metrics (DEX Score, MTTR, proactive issue resolution rate) and use these to continuously improve platform effectiveness and customer outcomes.
Automations & Workflow Orchestration
Own the vision and roadmap for the TeamViewer DEX Hub automation library — the centralized, single source of truth for OOTB and custom SCALE instructions, automations, and remediation workflows across the organization.
Lead the strategy for Tia Scripting, enabling IT admins to create automations and scripts through natural language — lowering the barrier to automation creation and eliminating dependence on deep PowerShell or Bash expertise.
Define the end-to-end automation lifecycle: from discovery and creation to testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement — ensuring automation is both powerful and safe for enterprise-scale operations.
Collaborate with Engineering and UX to design automation creation workflows that are accessible to IT generalists while remaining expressive enough for advanced users and MSPs.
Identify and prioritize automation use cases with the highest customer impact, grounded in field data, customer interviews, and win/loss analysis.
Cross-Functional & Strategic
Act as the product domain authority for DEX & Automations — representing roadmap priorities to senior stakeholders, customers, and field teams, and translating strategic goals into actionable, well-scoped requirements.
Partner with GTM, Customer Success, and Sales to develop positioning, enablement materials, and go-to-market strategies that communicate the business value of DEX and automation capabilities to economic buyers (CIOs, DEX Program Owners).
Drive customer discovery through interviews, advisory councils, and field feedback loops — continuously synthesizing market signals into roadmap decisions.
Ensure that all roadmap items ladder to TeamViewer's AEM strategic narrative: the journey from reactive support to proactive, predictive, and ultimately autonomous endpoint management.
Requirements
Must Have
4+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in endpoint management, ITSM, IT operations, or adjacent enterprise software.
Demonstrated experience owning complex, data-intensive product areas with strong analytical ability — comfort with telemetry, metrics-driven roadmapping, and outcome-based KPIs.
Proven ability to translate ambiguous customer problems into well-defined product requirements and ship iterative value in an agile environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to influence without authority and align cross-functional stakeholders from Engineering to Executive leadership.
Experience working in or alongside GTM, Sales, or Customer Success functions, with the ability to create compelling product positioning and enablement content.
Nice to Have
Hands-on familiarity with DEX platforms (e.g. 1E, Nexthink, Riverbed Aternity) or IT automation tools (e.g. Ansible, PowerShell DSC, ServiceNow Orchestration).
Understanding of AI/ML concepts as applied to IT operations — anomaly detection, predictive analytics, GenAI for scripting or remediation.
Experience in or exposure to the Gartner DEX Management Tools, UEM, or AEM market categories.
Scripting literacy in PowerShell, Bash, or Python — not a hard requirement, but enables faster domain depth and more productive engineering partnerships.
Fluency in German is a plus given the Munich location and regional customer base.
