Responsibilities
As a Site Reliability Engineer (all genders) at TeamViewer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Azure-based SaaS infrastructure. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking backend team that supports our core products and services, working on our global product infrastructure. Does this sound interesting to you? Design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable infrastructure for our global SaaS platform
Collaborate with engineering teams to support the implementation of SRE practices in a cloud-native environment
Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and automation systems to help ensure service reliability
Contribute to infrastructure improvements through automation using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Argo CD, or Bicep
Participate in on-call rotations, responding to incidents and supporting timely resolution of operational issues
Identify reliability risks and contribute to addressing them
Support ongoing efforts toward a cloud-native platform
Requirements
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
Solid experience in SRE, DevOps, or software development roles
Good understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP are also valuable)
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Argo CD, SaltStack)
Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell and bash)
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgresDB, MS SQL, MySQL, Cassandra) is a plus but not mandatory
Basic understanding of microservice environments, networking, and security (infrastructure hardening)
A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and a collaborative approach
Fluency in English; German is a plus but not mandatory
