Responsibilities
TeamViewer’s Frontline solution empowers frontline workers through workflow-based, real-time assistance on smart glasses, mobile phones, and tablets. It enhances productivity and safety by enabling hands-free workflows and remote support across industries worldwide.
We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Junior Android Software Engineer who is passionate about building user-focused applications and developing their skills within an international team.
Support the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications for enterprise and industrial use cases.
Contribute to writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following established guidelines and best practices.
Collaborate with backend and platform teams to support integration and ensure smooth functionality across devices.
Assist in implementing new features for the Frontline platform in close collaboration with UX and product teams.
Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team discussions to continuously improve code quality.
Support the full development lifecycle, from implementation to testing and release, under guidance from senior team members.
Learn and experiment with modern Android technologies (e.g., Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) and contribute ideas.
Gain experience with coding assistance tools and understand how to use them effectively in development workflows.
Requirements
University or college degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in Android development (including internships, working student roles, or relevant projects).
Basic knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK; familiarity with Java is a plus.
Understanding of mobile development concepts and willingness to learn modern architectures (e.g., MVVM).
Initial experience with REST APIs or backend integration is a plus.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Interest in testing and debugging mobile applications.
Eagerness to learn, proactive mindset, and strong team collaboration skills.
Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
