Responsibilities
As a Work Student Jira & Confluence Analyst in the Enterprise Work Management and Atlassian space, you support the Project Management Office and delivery tooling teams in operating and continuously improving Jira and Confluence usage across the organisation. You work under close guidance and within established standards, focusing on learning, documentation, and reliable execution.
Support day-to-day Jira and Confluence operations within existing projects and spaces
Assist with basic configuration tasks such as workflows, issue types, fields, dashboards, and permissions using approved templates
Help maintain Confluence space structures, page organisation, and access rights
Support documentation of tooling standards, usage guidelines, and how-to content
Assist in preparing simple dashboards and reports to support team-level visibility and transparency
Contribute to data quality improvements including issue hygiene and consistent field usage
Support onboarding activities and user enablement related to Jira and Confluence
Help analyse incoming requests, incidents, and improvement ideas and escalate appropriately
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to Atlassian tooling and SDLC support
All activities are performed under guidance and do not involve independent changes to production-critical configurations.
Requirements
Enrolled student (all genders) at a university or college, ideally in Business Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Curiosity and openness to learning new tools, concepts, and ways of working
Strong interest in enterprise tooling, digital workflows, and collaboration at scale
Basic Agile knowledge such as Scrum or Kanban
First Jira / Confluence exposure through studies, internships, or personal projects is a plus
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and structured problem-solving skills
Ability to produce clear documentation and follow defined standards and processes
Reliable & organised working style and comfort operating under guidance
Good communication skills and openness to feedback
Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus

Our Working Students in Germany receive a competitive monthly salary:
€1,566 for a 20-hour/week contract
€1,253 for a 16-hour/week contract
€1,400 for a full-time internship position
