Responsibilities
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at TeamViewer, you will help ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our Azure‑based global SaaS platform. You will operate and continuously improve the systems that power our core products and services, helping to deliver a seamless experience to users worldwide.
This role sits at the intersection of operations and software engineering. You’ll focus on operating and supporting reliable, scalable systems through strong observability, effective incident response, and continuous operational improvements, supported by automation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
Operate and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure supporting a global SaaS platform
Deploy and operate feature and maintenance releases, ensuring safe and reliable delivery to production
Develop and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability to support 24/7 service reliability and reduce incidents
Reduce operational toil and improve consistency through automation
Participate in on‑call rotations, investigate incidents, and drive timely and effective resolution
Contribute to post‑incident reviews and proactively identify reliability risks, performance bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
Collaborate across the organization to continuously improve platform reliability, security, and operational maturity
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or software development roles.
Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Practical experience with containers and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
Practical experience operating and troubleshooting Azure application platforms, including Azure Application Gateways and Azure App Services.
Proven experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation (e.g. Terraform, Argo CD).
Ability to write and maintain scripts (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions (e.g. Keycloak, Entra).
Solid understanding of databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
Software development experience is highly beneficial, particularly with Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
Good understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments.
Fluent in English.
