Join our BI team and help us shape the business decisions and processes of TeamViewer based on the data of our customers experience, engagement and products usage. You will work with our BI platform team with the BI data science unit . You will build and maintain scalable, high-quality analytical data products that power decision-making across the company. You will enable teams through reliable data models, standardized metrics, and strong data quality, working on large-scale datasets for a global product used by billions of users worldwide.
Responsibilities
Maintain and improve data applications that optimize various business processes
Act as a key interface between platform analytics and data consumers, understanding their needs and translating them into reusable data assets
Ensure data quality, reliability, and freshness through testing, monitoring, and validation
Design and maintain standardized business metrics and KPIs to analyze trends, identify issues, and measure performance across key company activities
Optimize data warehouse pipelines and processes to efficiently handle large-scale datasets for a product used by 2+ billion users worldwide
Diagnose and resolve data issues and outages, participate in on-call rotations, contribute to post-mortems, and proactively suggest improvements to engineering excellence
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience with a strong data focus
At least 1 year of relevant professional experience in Data, Analytics, or Engineering roles
Strong SQL expertise, including writing complex and performant queries
Basic knowledge of Python for data processing or automation
Hands-on experience delivering data handling and analysis projects
Familiarity with modern software engineering practices applied to data, including testing, modularity, and code reviews
Strong problem-solving skills and high motivation to tackle complex challenges collaboratively
Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
Fluency in English with strong communication skills
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift)
Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker or Tableau
Experience working with version control systems like Git
