Responsibilities

• Become a Global Process Owner for defined IFRS accounting areas (ie, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 9) 

• Take full responsibility for the Accounting areas and improve processes and our internal control system 

• GL bookings and accounts, and entity reconciliations 

• Ensure accounting data is delivered timely and of high quality 

• Create accounting manuals and documentation 

• Take full responsibility for the monthly closing of individual entities 

• Support and actively participate in international projects  

Requirements

• Become a Global Process Owner for defined IFRS 15.

• Analyse customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under IFRS 15.

• Prepare and maintain revenue schedules, including deferrals, accruals, and reclassifications.

• Partner with Sales and Legal to assess non-standard terms and their accounting implications.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations related to revenue and or others.

• Assist in the preparation of revenue-related disclosures for external reporting.

• Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance revenue accuracy and efficiency.

• Take full responsibility for Accounting areas and improve processes and our internal control system, including drafting/revision of accounting manuals.

• Take full responsibility for the monthly closing of individual entities or other group accounting related tasks.

• Support and actively participate in accounting related projects.
