Responsibilities
The TeamViewer ONE platform finds and resolves IT issues before they affect users. Over the past several years we have successfully built and released products which makes IT administrators' day-to-day life easier. Our vision is to become THE autonomous endpoint management solution for our customers.
We are looking for a Team Lead (all genders) to manage and support our teams developing TeamViewer ONE and Unified Endpoint Management. You will translate high-level vision into working services and enhance the software platform powering TeamViewer’s industry-leading portfolio of products. Work closely together with other R&D leaders and contribute to department-wide initiatives, focusing on building services and platforms across the TeamViewer product portfolio.
Lead one engineering team which focus on building services for our TeamViewer ONE solution
Own all parts of the service lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, tracking and operations
Continuously improve the product delivery process to reach a sustainable improvement
Define the team’s product roadmap and drive the system architecture
Deliver software meeting highest quality in terms of usability, stability, performance and security
Be responsible for the quality the product the team delivers, as well as their overall effectiveness
Be hands-on and collaborate together with your team to deliver solutions
Utilize proven technical best practices to inspire and guide the team, ensure that their solutions can be used by other teams in an easy and flexible manner
Provide guidance in regards to technical, process or method related questions to the team and enable and foster an open feedback and communication culture
Ensure the personal and professional development of the team members to help them reach their full potential
Requirements
A university or college degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related subject
8+ years of software development experience focused on building services and products
Experience in leading or managing an engineering team, demonstrating strong people management skills and a proven track record deliverables.
Expertise in at least one modern programming language like Java, Typescript, C# with the ability and willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
Familiarity with integrating or leveraging AI services in the software architecture is a plus.
Familiarity in using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenCode or similar to accelerate development, enhance code quality, and improve developer workflows.
Strong data-driven mindset and a great attention to detail
Comfortable with working in high-demand set-up and ability to prioritize execution, hands-on mentality
Hands-on experience and knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations
Hands-on guidance of engineering teams through initial project phases
Experienced in leading delivery of cloud-based solution that has required collaboration across different teams.
Experience with Azure/AWS cloud services such as: Kafka, Kubernetes, Redis, event streaming is a plus.
A pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset that balances technical excellence with business needs and delivery timelines.
Experience partnering with product and user experience teams
Strong communication skills to customers, business and technical partners
Strong data-driven mindset and a great attention to detail
A spirit of lifelong learning and eagerness to tackle new challenges every day
Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus
