Play a vital role in TeamViewer’s ability to deliver technology solutions that solve our customers’ biggest challenges through collaboration with Sales and Solution Engineers by providing technical input for a Rough of Order of Magnitude and responding to request for estimates including drafting the Statement of Work and responding to RFPs on behalf of Professional Services (Solution Delivery) for all global sales teams. Combine technical expertise with a delivery mindset to solve complex problems providing technical consultations with SEs on large scale enterprise customers, and work closely with Solution Engineers to understand their clients needs and propose appropriate technical solutions while supporting the sales process and response timelines for Professional Services estimates.
Manage the intake and output of Professional Services estimation process ensuring Statement of Works and RFP responses provide clarity and quality of scope/acceptance criteria including estimate effort days, project duration, technical assumptions, and technical responsibilities of both TeamViewer and the Client.
Provide professional services responses to sales and solution engineering in support of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from potential clients for IT and OT services and solutions. Create persuasive, clear, and well-structured documents that effectively communicate the value of a proposed project or service with compelling documents for executive review.
Collaboration: Work alongside Solution Engineers and Technical Account Managers for pre-sales estimations, strategic scoping calls requiring Professional Services to help provide input on the value of Professional Services and the Solutions Delivered to both internal and external stakeholders and customers.
Content Development: Craft the Statement of Work for the Professional Services estimates by writing clear and concise documents. This includes articulating the project’s objectives, methodologies, timelines, and required minimum hours, which may include architecture diagrams, process flows, or other artifacts to convey the project scope. Create compelling documents that outline technical, scope of professional services, acceptance criteria, schedule, and cost estimates to support custom IT solutions; including implementation estimates for Frontline development, testing, and deployment of Small Business to Enterprise implementations.
Analysis: Conduct discovery to understand the needs from Solution Engineer input or Technical Project Manager for existing projects to specify a scope, objective, and acceptance criteria to reach a desired outcomes of the project or request solution. Work closely with various stakeholders, including project managers, subject matter experts, solution engineers, project engineers, R&D, product owners, and/or legal. This collaboration is essential to gather the necessary information and ensure that the SOW or RFP response accurately reflects the organization’s capabilities and offerings.
Compliance and Formatting: Proposals often have specific submission guidelines, including formatting requirements and content restrictions. Ensure that all responses to sales and solution engineers comply with customer RFP guidelines to avoid disqualification; and that SOW turnaround timeframes adhere to standard operating procedures. A critical part is reviewing and refining the document ensuring documents are free of errors, adheres to formatting guidelines, and maintains a professional tone throughout.
Reporting & Standards: After submission, may be responsible for tracking the sales order to the SOW estimated and reporting on outcomes using one or more systems of record. Ability to recognize when new templates are needed and to update the content for templates to aid in improving the process. Create and maintain estimators or inform process improvements of existing estimation tools and resources.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of the value proposition and technical capabilities of TeamViewer Frontline
- Strong technical and collaboration skills, ability to lead without authority and support Solution Engineers to deliver solution estimates
- Ability to navigate ambiguous request and provide technical estimates
- Ability to determine the size and type of SOW required to meet the needs based on the project size and scope; leveraging various templates
- Edit written documents in a professional and credible manner
- Develop and manage templates, style guides, and document repositories
- Conduct interviews with project engineers, solution engineers and other subject matter experts
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with proposal guidelines and company standards
- Help with reviewing products, services, and project ideas
- Rewrite proposals (SOWs) according to feedback for professional services
- Previous experience in conducting interviews and creating strategies
- Write copies with a consistent tone
