Responsibilities
Are you ready to kickstart your career in our HR department and make a valuable impact on our Compensation & Benefits team? Join us as a Compensation & Benefits Intern and help ensure our employees are compensated accurately and on time!
- Assist in payroll preparation by compiling and organizing monthly payroll data for 10 countries, ensuring accuracy for over 1,200 employees across Germany and EMEA.
- Manage assigned benefit categories and focus areas autonomously, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Address employee inquiries through our HR ticketing system, helping to resolve questions about payment, payslip access, vacation calculations, and other payroll-related topics.
- Ensure accurate time recording for working students and calculate their payments in alignment with contract terms and local labor laws.
- Generate and review payroll reports, verify data accuracy, and support monthly payroll processing.
- Identify and analyze areas for potential efficiency gains within payroll operations. Assist in designing and implementing strategic improvements to streamline payroll workflows
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for payroll processes, policies, and best practices
- Provide administrative and analytical support for ongoing global payroll projects and initiatives, contributing to the team’s success in delivering high-quality, compliant payroll services across regions.
Requirements
- Enrolled student (all genders) at a university or college in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Mandatory Internship (40hrs/week) for minimum 5 to 6 months
- Fluency in German and good English skills are mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in payroll software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, ADP) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey payroll information clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Our Work Students in Germany receive a monthly salary of €1,390.00 for a 20h/week, €1,112.00 for a 16h/week, and €1,200.00 for an Intern position.
