Responsibilities

We are looking for a Team Lead (all genders) to manage and support our teams in developing TeamViewer Platform Services. Work closely together with other R&D leaders and contribute to department-wide initiatives. The position provides an excellent opportunity to create impact and add value in an agile, modern environment.
Your focus would be on the Multitenancy platform.

 

  • Lead a full-stack agile team with focus on building services for our products.
  • Ensure the personal and professional development of the team membersto help them reach their full potential
  • Align the teams product roadmap in collaboration with Product Management
  • Align with various stakeholders (Engineering, Product Management, Security, and UX)
  • Own all parts of the service lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, and testing
  • Continuously improve the product delivery process to reach a sustainable improvement 
  • Deliver software meeting the highest quality interms of usability, stability, performance, and security  
  • Be responsible for the quality of the product the team delivers, as well as their overalleffectiveness 
  • Utilize proven best practices to inspire and guide the team, and ensurethat other teams can use their solutions in an easy and flexible manner  
  • Provide guidance in regards to technical, process, or method-related questions to the team and enable as well as foster an open feedback and communication culture 

 

Requirements

  • A university or college degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related subject  
  • 2+ years of experience in leading and managing engineering teams, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a proven track record in team development. 
  • Comfortable with working inhigh-demand set-ups and abilityto prioritize execution, hands-on mentality 
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations 
  • Strong communication skills with customers, business, and technical partners  
  • Strongdata-driven mindset and great attention to detail 
  • A spirit of lifelong learning and eagerness to tackle new challenges every day 
  • Demonstrates consistent ability to meet deadlines, prioritizes tasks effectively, and product delivery timeline effectively
  • Fluencyin Englishis mandatory, further languages such as Portuguese or German are a plus
