Responsibilities

TeamViewer Frontline develops industrial wearable computing-based augmented reality solutions that enable customers to optimize their business processes. Become part of an international team and support us with your ideas.

• Design and implement scalable and robust event-driven applications using Java SpringBoot.
• Develop high-quality code, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
• Integrate third-party services and components into the application ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in new and existing applications.
• Be part of the software development lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, maintenance and support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in event-driven architecture.

Requirements

• A degree or education in computer science and/or comparable professional experience in the field of Backend Development
• Experience with Java and Java frameworks like SpringBoot (at least 3 years).
• Experience with event-driven architecture and technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS or similar)
• Proficient in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and designing database schemas
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Experience with RESTful API development and consumption
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
• Android development experience is a plus
• Proven ability to understand the big picture and quickly comprehend complex relationships in dynamic organizations
• Enthusiasm for acting as team player, especially when it comes to cross functional teams paired with passion to work independently, assuming holistic responsibility for a project when needed
• English is no hurdle for you (at least B2-level required)
