Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist (all genders) to join our international Record-to-Report team and help organize and improve the HR accounting closing process.
As a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist (all genders), you will be responsible for overseeing the full HR accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal controls. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including HR Operations, Controlling, Legal to support strategic decision-making and financial reporting.
- Become a Global Process Owner for defined IAS 19 and IFRS 2 areas.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations related to HR accounting and/or others.
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Take full responsibility for HR Accounting areas and improve processes and our internal control system, including drafting/revision of accounting manuals.
- Take full responsibility for the monthly closing of individual entities or other group accounting related tasks.
- Support and actively participate in accounting related projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics (or equivalent)
- Very good understanding of general accounting principles
- IAS 19 and IFRS 2 knowledge and experience
- Professional certification in accounting or finance preferred (ACCA, CPA, CFA)
- Hands-on mentality
- Positive mindset
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Process-driven
- Technical experience with accounting software
- Personal responsibility, ability to work independently and against timelines, and enjoying changes and innovations
