Responsibilities
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Regional Procurement Business Partner – APAC to act as the primary interface between our global procurement function and the business stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region. This role is critical in aligning global procurement strategies with local needs, enabling efficient execution of sourcing, supplier management, and compliance initiatives across the region. Based in India, you will serve as the go-to person for procurement topics in APAC, ensuring consistent service delivery, supporting local requirements, and driving collaboration across functions and categories.
- Be the good soul of the Mumbai office and provide a hands-on service mentality to local staff.
- Provide administrative support to the office and assist other APAC locations
- Plan in-house activities, luncheons, parties, celebrations, and conferences
- Act as the primary procurement contact for all business units and stakeholders in the APAC region
- Translate global procurement strategies into regional execution plans and support local implementation
- Support sourcing activities and supplier onboarding in collaboration with category and excellence teams
- Advise local stakeholders on procurement processes, policies, tools, and compliance requirements
- Facilitate communication between local teams and global procurement on projects, escalations, and priorities
- Drive local procurement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts aligned with business goals
- Ensure accurate and timely handling of procurement data, catalogs, and system updates for the region
- Monitor supplier performance and support issue resolution in collaboration with SRM teams
- Contribute to sustainability, risk, and regulatory efforts in the region
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and other support functions to ensure smooth procurement operations
- Serve as the go-to person for office operations in Mumbai, providing hands-on support to employees.
- Oversee administrative functions for the Mumbai office and assist other APAC locations as needed.
- Plan and coordinate in-house activities, including luncheons, celebrations, and conferences.
- Partner with HR to drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
- Manage facility maintenance and liaise with relevant building vendors.
- Support domestic and international travel arrangements for staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Experience in procurement, vendor management, or business partnering in an international environment
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, tools, and compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting stakeholders across functions and geographies, preferably in a matrix organization
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented and organized with a passion for both procurement and office operations.
- Self-driven and hands-on, with the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
- Fluent in English; other APAC languages are a plus
- Familiarity with eProcurement tools and ERP systems
- Based in India and comfortable working across multiple time zones
