We are seeking an experienced and organized SaaS Implementation Project Manager to lead our clients through the entire software implementation lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role is critical in driving customer adoption and satisfaction, directly impacting long-term client retention and success, and laying the foundation for a strong, lasting partnership. You will act as the primary point of contact between our company and our clients, coordinating internal resources for the flawless execution of projects. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation, to be shared with clients and internal teams. 
  • Manage Project Lifecycle: Oversee all aspects of the implementation process from kickoff to go-live, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope and budget. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and building strong, trusted relationships. 
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate internal resources, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure efficient project execution. 
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating them to management as needed. 
  • Drive Customer Success and Adoption: Act as a customer advocate, ensuring the implementation is aligned with their business goals to drive initial value. Proactively manage the client relationship to set them up for long-term success and reduce the risk of future churn. 
  • Client Enablement: Organize and facilitate client training and onboarding sessions to ensure successful user adoption and a smooth transition to the customer success team. 
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain thorough project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and change logs. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, a related field, or relevant industry experience. 
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in project management, specifically within a SaaS or technology company. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of software implementation projects. 
  • A strong customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering positive business outcomes for clients. 
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills (written and verbal). 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Jira. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certification is a plus. 
  • Experience with end user compute or digital employee experience implementations. 
  • Direct experience in a customer success, account management, or consulting role. 
  • Software project management  background with an understanding of project management and tracking tools, including Jira, Sharepoint, and Confluence. 
  • Proven track record managing a Professional Services portfolio
