Responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Engineer (all genders) to strengthen and support our Agile team. Furthermore, this position is responsible for designing and developing new security solutions for various TeamViewer products.

• Implement and maintain technical solutions to address incident response rate, extension of security features and vulnerability disclosures of TeamViewer products
• Ensure that our software is secure and runs efficiently on many different systems (more than 2.5 billion installations)
• Participate in periodic secure coding training sessions with local developers
• Work together with other development teams to improve existing security concepts

Requirements

• A university degree in computer science or equivalent working experience
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position, specifically focused on security issues
• Understanding of scalable distributed systems and different cryptography concepts
• Willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies to follow the products technology stack
• Passion for secure, innovative and user-friendly solutions for highly complex problems
• Experience in any of the following fields would be desirable: Software security and vulnerabilities assessment, Web Architectures, or Programming languages such as C#, Java, or WebAssembly
• Good knowledge of C++ and Rust is a plus
• Experience with security protocols (TLS, SSL) would be preferable
• Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus
