Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Commercial Operations & Strategy to lead our commercial team, drive business growth, and develop and implement strategic initiatives. This senior leadership role is critical to continuously optimizing our commercial operations, enhancing market competitiveness, and achieving revenue targets.
- Develop and implement commercial operational strategies aligned with company goals
- Optimise sales processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business success and ensure alignment and support for commercial initiatives
- Create and manage budgets, including quarterly and annual planning, while monitoring financial performance to identify revenue-generating as well as cost-saving opportunities and propose solutions
- Make data analytics available to the business, create and monitor KPIs to support strategies and initiatives, and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Develop and support the effective use of corporate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Sales Automation systems, implement best practices and procedures, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Create a balanced and effective compensation plan aligned with company objectives and sales dynamics, supporting Sales Leadership to set individual quotas based on performance expectations and continuously evaluating team performance against these targets
- Prepare systems and processes for tracking and reporting on the incentive plan to ensure it is effectively implemented and operationalize and collaborate with members from sales, finance, HR, and operations to achieve these goals
- Develop and mentor leaders within the organization, foster a positive work environment and promote individual staff growth
- Nice to have: Experience in CRM migration and set up of end to end lead to cash process
- Develop and foster relationships in a matrix organisation across all business functions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in commercial operations, strategy, business development, or related fields in an international SaaS company
- Proven track record of success as senior leader within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve business objectives
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management
- Deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes
