Responsibilities

 

We are looking for a Trust and Safety Analyst (all genders) to support our Trust & Safety Team. You will conduct internal analysis to enhance the TeamViewer Trust & Safety platform and capabilities to reinforce TeamViewer’s industry-leading product security posture.

 

  • Analyze large-scale data to detect patterns of abuse. 
  • Investigate anomalies and suspicious activities by leveraging data insights, identifying root causes, and proposing mitigation strategies. 
  • Develop and refine detection models to proactively identify and prevent abuse at scale. 
  • Monitor real-time alerts and signals to detect emerging threats and take immediate action. 
  • Collaborate with security, engineering, and product teams to improve detection capabilities and enhance platform protection. 
  • Automate workflows and reporting processes to increase efficiency in fraud detection and risk assessment. 
  • Prepare data-driven reports and dashboards to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders.

 

Requirements

 

  • University degree in data science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Strong analytical skills. 
  • Proficiency in SQL; knowledge of additional programming languages such as Go or Python for data processing is a plus. 
  • Keen eye for spotting abnormal or suspicious behavior in data. 
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple investigations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Experience with machine learning models for fraud detection or anomaly detection is a plus.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies, abuse detection models, or cybersecurity principles. 
  • Fluency in English paired with great communication skills round up your profile, German is a plus
  • Experience or knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
    • working with large datasets.
    • with identifying fraud patterns or security risks in datasets.
    • with data visualization tools.
    • programming languages other than SQL for data analysis, GO or Python preferred.
    • machine learning, especially for fraud or anomaly detection.
    • risk assessment methodologies, abuse detection models, or cybersecurity principles.
