Responsibilities
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE, all genders) at TeamViewer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Azure-based SaaS infrastructure. You’ll join a forward-thinking backend team that supports our core products and services, helping us deliver a seamless experience to millions of users worldwide.

- Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure for our global SaaS platform.
- Develop and refine monitoring, alerting, and automation systems to ensure 24/7 service reliability.
- Continuously improve infrastructure through automation using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Argo CD, and SaltStack.
- Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure rapid resolution of operational issues.
- Proactively identify and mitigate reliability risks, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Support our transition to a fully cloud-native architecture on Azure.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or software development roles.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (experience with AWS or GCP is a plus).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools.
- Familiarity with programming languages.
- Experience with scripting languages, including PowerShell.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MS SQL, Cassandra, Scylla.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, parallel programming, and test automation.
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
