Responsibilities
As a key player in our tax team, you bring your passion for numbers and expertise in tax accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax forecast for the TeamViewer group. You lead and mentor a team of tax colleagues across different regions. On the compliance side, you ensure adherence to corporate tax law and transfer pricing regulations. You oversee key global tax initiatives, such as CbCR, Pillar 2 and other ongoing tax projects and assess potential tax impacts on the TeamViewer group. You prepare and present tax reports to the management and act as the deputy to the Head of Taxes.
- Tax Accounting and Tax Forecast: Lead and manage together with the tax team IFRS Tax Accounting and Tax forecasting; Responsible for quarterly IFRS current and deferred tax calculation including tax notes and disclosure;
- Income Tax Compliance: Engage with the corporate direct tax team to ensure complete and correct reflection of tax numbers in our books and ensuring compliance with international tax regulations as well as transfer pricing regulations;
- Tax Legislation Monitoring: Oversee key global tax initiatives, such as CbCR, Pillar 2, and assess its potential impact on the TeamViewer group.
- Tax Project Management: Serve as the lead for tax projects, collaborating with the tax team and cross-functional departments to drive digital transformation and strengthen automated tax processes;
- Tax Compliance: Support the tax team in strengthening tax compliance through documentation and effective controls.
- Process Automation: Drive the improvement and automation of processes related to data preparation and reporting within the tax function by implementing and improving the utilization of digital tools.
- Management Representation: Act as a deputy for the Head of Taxes, including preparing and presenting tax reports to management.
Requirements
- 6-8 years in tax consulting or in-house tax department, with a focus on national and international income taxation;
- In-depth knowledge of German and international income tax law, with a solid foundation in tax accounting and corporate tax topics; certification as a German tax advisor (Steuerberater) is preferred.
- Passionate about implementing and continuously refining tax and finance processes, ensuring clean and efficient structures.
- Eager to explore and integrate new digital tools and technologies into our operations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Enjoy working in a young, dynamic, and international finance team.
- Passionate about continuously improving processes and eager to introduce innovative solutions.
- Comfortable working in a flat hierarchy and representing the Head of Taxes in management tasks.
- Fluency in German and English
