Responsibilities

 

Join our IT Smart Workplace Team (ITSW) as Senior System Engineer (all genders) and shape the future IT workplace landscape at TeamViewer. ITSW is responsible for all our end user computing devices (workstations, notebooks, mobile devices, meeting rooms). Main focus of this position is design, evaluate, test, implement and further develop our IT hard- and software components and solutions. To bring our workplace environment from state-of-the-art to next generation with maximum Security is your mission. 

 

  • Analyse existing workplace environment and define the future landscape
  • Propose, design and implement new workplace concepts to improve efficiency for our business
  • Close contact to business to work on continuous improvements and target solutions
  • Act as a contact and sparring partner for continuous development and improvement of IT Workplace and processes 
  • Plan and lead evaluation and implementation/rollout of new solutions or version updates/upgrades
  • Governance and control of patch management for our workplace systems (software and hardware)
  • Work closely together and collaborate with other teams like Service Desk, IT Infrastructure, IT Security and proactively support them in daily operations and projects
  • Focus on Security, user experience and latest market technology
  • Take responsibility and actively share knowledge with your team colleagues
  • Ensure compliance of the software used at TeamViewer and support in setting up and maintaining the whole application catalogue
  • Documentation and ensure it is up to date
  • Be responsible for operational contract management and adoptions

 

Requirements

 

  • University degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of methods and at least 3 years of professional experience in the field of enterprise IT
  • Expert knowledge in MS Azure cloud and MS Intune 
  • Expert knowledge in clients operating systems (primarily MS Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android)
  • You really want to drive things forward
  • Knowledge in client software packaging or MDM solutions like MS Intune or comparable tools 
  • You keep up to date with trends and new technologies and actively bring this knowledge into your daily work
  • Inspire and develop your colleagues with your knowledge and vision of future IT Workplace
  • Fluent English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus
