About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Senior Events Manager (all genders) to join our EMEA Marketing team at TeamViewer. In this high impact position, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and optimizing a wide range of events, ranging from large trade shows to exclusive hospitality experiences. This role requires a strategic mindset, hands-on execution, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced tech environment independently. You will be the go-to person for all things events, ensuring every detail is handled with precision and creativity. As a strategic contributor to TeamViewer’s EMEA event strategy, you will be collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver exceptional experiences that drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and pipeline growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Own and maintain the EMEA events calendar, acting as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders, translating business goals into impactful event experiences.
  • Strategically own, plan and manage various event formats e.g., trade shows, conferences, event activations, VIP experiences from A-Z. Including pre- and post- event strategies to optimize engagement, lead generation, and ROI.
  • Lead pre-show and post-show briefings/debriefings ranging from internal communications aligning teams on event goals, logistics, and expectations to gathering feedback, sharing insight on performance and strategic recommendations for future decisions.
  • Manage complex logistics across multiple countries, including venue sourcing & coordination, travel, staffing, and compliance.
  • Source and manage third-party vendors for booth materials, giveaways, and branded assets.
  • Travel to events (up to 50–75%) to oversee setup, execution, and teardown—including weekends and holidays when necessary.
  • Evaluate new and existing events for performance and strategic fit, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of event assets, manage shipping, and act as the team’s office coordinator when prepping for events.
  • Support and coordinate content development (booth design, flyers, etc) for event marketing, speaker coordination, and promotional materials.
  • Create, own and manage the event budgets: processing invoices, and reconciling expenses ensuring cost efficiencies and strategic investments.
  • Maintain and update the holistic event calendar while supporting administrative tasks such as contract management/procurement/finance, vendor onboarding, and approvals.

 

Requirements

 

  • 8+ years of experience in event planning, ideally in the tech or software industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business goals into impactful event strategies.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; with proven ability to manage complex logistics and multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills; detail-oriented and proactive.
  • Comfortable with event applications (used during tradeshows).
  • Ability to effectively manage physical event setup, could require lifting heavy items.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel regularly across EMEA.
  • Must be based in Göppingen and available to work in-office at least 2 days/week, especially during event preparation periods.
