You are currently enrolled in university or college studies and want to gain some experience in a dynamic, modern, fast-growing tech company? Great! We are looking for a Work Student (all genders) to support our Localization team.

• Get to know how software is tested at TeamViewer – not just in theory, but through hands-on setups
• Work with different operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) to create and manage test environments and virtual machines simulating real-world TeamViewer usage scenarios
• Support manual and exploratory testing, bug reproduction, and issue analysis
• Write and improve test scripts or small helper tools using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Explore how AI tools can support testing workflows and boost everyday efficiency
• Understand how testing, scripting, and automation connect in real business contexts

Requirements

• Enrolled student (all genders) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field
• Enjoys hands-on IT tasks: testing tools, configuring systems, experimenting with scripts
• Basic knowledge of operating system internals (e.g. Windows Registry, macOS Plists) is a plus – everything else can be learned on the job
• Curious, reliable, and motivated to learn and grow in a supportive team environment
• Fluent in English; German is a plus

Bonus Points

• Experience with virtual machines, Docker, command line tools, or AI Tools like ChatGPT (in detail like CustomGPTs, Custom Instructions, Memory features and Prompt Engineering)
• Has written small scripts to solve practical problems or automate repetitive tasks
• Enjoys learning by doing and isn’t afraid to ask questions

What we offer

• Contract location would be Göppingen, Germany

• Our Work Students in Germany receive a monthly salary of 1.566,00€ for a 20h/week, 1.253,00€ for a 16h/week and 1.400,00€ for an Intern position.
