Responsibilities
Join our Product Security team as DevSecOps Engineer (all genders) and work closely with the Product Infrastructure team, Security Crew, Trust & Safety, CI/CD, and IT Operations and focus on security-related topics around the application and data layers of TeamViewer´s products. The position provides an excellent opportunity to create impact and add value in an agile, modern environment and will be a mix of on-system threat hunting, developing bespoke application monitoring, and implementation of security best practices.
- Advocate and drive security best practices in architectural and application implementation
- Conduct threat hunting and drive resolutions of those threats on the application and data layers of our solutions
- Implement instrumented monitoring to focus on identifying security events in the application and data layers of our products and participate in root cause analysis in product security incidents
- Design, develop, and implement processes, policies and training, best practices, and secure software development life cycle solutions based on various tools
- Contribute to tool evaluation, selection, and recommendation
- Define applications security architecture elements, secure software development life cycle for large projects and teams, and documentation security requirements for applications
- Assist with KPIs and KRIs related to the application security
- Coordinate the construction of labs and PoC to improve project and service delivery
- Work with senior management on defining roadmaps, and needs and provide short and mid-term forecasting
- Contribute to R&D activities as a Subject Matter Expert & internal professional community
Requirements
- A university degree in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related subject
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, or in Operation Security in R&D, or Application Hardening
- Systems-level knowledge of Windows/Linux servers as well as MSSQL
- Background in working with monitoring frameworks similar to Promethius.io and ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus
