Responsibilities

 

As a key member of the TeamViewer tax team, you will oversee and manage corporate income tax matters, both domestic and international, in close collaboration with our global tax team. A team leadership role is anticipated. Additionally, you will lead critical tax projects within our digital transformation strategy, enhancing our tax compliance framework. There is potential to act as deputy to the Head of Taxes including preparing and presenting tax reports to the management.

 

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for all national and international corporate tax matters, including tax calculations for quarterly and annual IFRS financial statements
  • Oversee key global tax initiatives, such as CbCR, Pillar 2, withholding tax and PE management, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations
  • Serve as the lead for various tax projects, collaborating with the tax team and cross-functional departments to drive digital transformation and strengthen tax compliance processes
  • Support the tax team in strengthening tax compliance processes through documentation and effective controls
  • Evaluate and implement digital tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in tax-related activities; implement tools for upcoming tax reporting requirements (Pillar 2, CbCR)
  • Drive the improvement and automation of processes related to data preparation and reporting within the tax function
  • Stay informed of new tax legislation and assess its potential impact on the TeamViewer group
  • Act as a deputy for the Head of Taxes, including preparing and presenting tax reports to management

 

Requirements

 

  • 6-8 years in tax consulting or an in-house tax department, with a focus on national and international taxation
  • In-depth knowledge of German and international income tax law, with a solid foundation in VAT and payroll regulations; certification as a German tax advisor (Steuerberater) is preferred
  • Passionate about implementing and continuously refining tax and finance processes, ensuring clean and efficient structures
  • Eager to explore and integrate new digital tools and technologies into our operations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory, further languages are a plus
  • Enjoy working in a young, dynamic, and international finance team
  • Passionate about continuously improving processes and eager to introduce innovative solutions
  • Comfortable working in a flat hierarchy and representing the Head of Taxes in management tasks
