As Vice President, Marketing - Americas you will lead marketing activity in the Americas with the support of a local team of experts and in conjunction with local sales leaders as well as central marketing teams based in Europe. The role provides strategic leadership, drives revenue growth, and fosters alignment between sales and marketing teams. It is primarily measured by goals aligned with the sales team of billings, revenue and ARR. Additional goals include team engagement, cost allocation management, pipeline creation, brand awareness and thought leadership.

 

 

 

Key Requirements:

 

 

  • Demonstrate a track record of strong leadership, leading by example, and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional results. They should possess the ability to cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the marketing department.

 

 

  • Extensive experience and a deep understanding of B2B marketing strategies, including account-based marketing (ABM) and ideally also e-commerce. Well-versed in leveraging digital channels, software to support ABM and CRM, data analytics (e.g. Adobe or GGL analytics), and customer insights to drive targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives.

 

  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering measurable outcomes, including pipeline growth and revenue generation. The ideal candidate possesses the strategic acumen to develop and execute marketing plans that align with business objectives and drive bottom line impact.

 

 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster alignment and collaboration between sales and marketing teams. A deep understanding of the nuances of both functions and adept to developing integrated strategies and executing them to drive customer acquisition, retention, and cross sell/upsell opportunities.

 

 

Deliverables:

 

 

 

Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on driving brand awareness, lead generation, billings, revenue & ARR growth.

 

 

 

Team Leadership and Development: Inspire, mentor, and empower the marketing team to excel in their roles, fostering a culture of continuous learning, creativity, and accountability. Ensure the team works closely with sales colleagues and drives activity, including account-based marketing, such as content creation, campaigns, and events to create pipeline and nurture sales opportunities.

 

 

 

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales leadership to align marketing efforts with sales goals and objectives, ensuring seamless coordination and integration between the departments and the creation of a strong pipeline of future business.

 

 

 

Performance Measurement and Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, measuring actuals to target quarter over quarter to ensure growth.
