We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Support Engineer to join our team. The Sales Support Engineer will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and enhancing sales effectiveness through strategic analysis, training, and enablement initiatives. This individual will work closely with the sales team to optimize performance and maximize revenue generation across various sales channels.
Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth:
- Track overall revenue growth for RMM and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales efforts.
- Break down revenue growth into measurable components (all MWB products), including the number of net new licenses sold, successful upsells, and identified opportunities.
Training and Enablement:
- Conduct training sessions to enhance sales team skills and knowledge.
- Perform product demos to showcase features and benefits to potential customers.
Daily Activities:
- Assist Account Managers (ISR & ISS) on sales opportunities as required.
- Review sales opportunities to identify issues or delays and provide necessary assistance.
- Monitor sales pipeline for new opportunities and prepare for upcoming training sessions and enablement activities.
- Maintain regular communication with AMs and update Sr. Channel Sales Managers on pertinent information.
Weekly Activities:
- Review sales pipeline for stalled opportunities and strategize on next steps.
- Identify upsell opportunities and coordinate with opportunity owners to approach partners.
- Gather feedback from sales reps on tools, training, and support needs and communicate findings to the team.
- Remind sales reps of any ongoing spiffs or promotions to incentivize sales performance.
Monthly Activities:
- Schedule and conduct training sessions addressing specific challenges, techniques, or product features.
- Participate in strategic meetings with key stakeholders to align sales efforts and address challenges.
- Collaborate with renewal teams to support retention efforts and develop strategies to minimize attrition.
Quarterly Activities:
- Review previous quarter's results with senior management and analyze factors contributing to success or hindrance.
- Document insights and revise plans for the new quarter to optimize sales performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales performance management, preferably in the technology/SaaS industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities.
Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in sales performance tracking software.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training sessions or client meetings.
