About the role

 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demand Generation Specialist to drive marketing initiatives in the Japan Market. As the Demand Generation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to generate demand, increase brand awareness, and support revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful campaigns and initiatives that resonate with target audiences.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Leverage deep understanding of Japan’s digital marketing ecosystem, including local platforms (LINE, Yahoo! Japan, etc.), to design and execute campaigns optimized for the Japanese audience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Japan-based marketing and PR agencies, industry-specific associations, and event organizers to maximize brand presence and lead generation opportunities.
  • Identify and participate in Japan’s industry-specific trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences relevant to TeamViewer’s target markets, ensuring alignment with strategic sales objectives
  • Plan and execute joint marketing initiatives with local and regional partners, including co-branded campaigns, partner-led events, and enablement programs, to drive mutual business growth.
  • Support partner recruitment and engagement efforts by developing tailored marketing materials, training sessions, and joint lead-generation activities with key channel and alliance partners in Japan.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and sales objectives, aligning demand generation activities accordingly.
  • Own end-to-end campaign management, including campaign planning, execution, optimization, and performance measurement, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Represent TeamViewer at industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in demand generation, marketing, or related roles, preferably within the technology/software industry. 3-5 years of experience.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of delivering measurable results and achieving targets.
  • Fluency in English & Japanese.
  •  Proficiency in additional languages spoken in the ASEAN & GC region is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the region for events and meetings.
