Responsibilities
- Support our project engineering teams in building, testing, and maintaining high-quality software integrations with the Frontline platform
- Help maintain our internal tooling, scripts, and automation pipelines to support the team’s productivity
- Assist with coding tasks, debugging, and implementing features under the guidance of experienced software engineers
- Contribute to code reviews and documentation to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Product Management, and Design
- Create and improve technical documentation to reduce onboarding times and increase productivity of the team
- Offer technical consultation to our partners and customers, ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilization of Frontline platform tools.
- Take ownership of your own small projects or components and bring your ideas into real-life solutions
Requirements
- Enrolled student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Solid programming knowledge in one or more languages such as Java, Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), IDEs, and debugging tools
- Familiarity with SQL based databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with containerization with Docker
- Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
- Interest in building scalable applications, writing clean code, and solving real-world problems
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a collaborative team environment
- Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus
- Prior experience through personal projects, internships, or open-source contributions is a plus
- Experience in dev-ops related topics like container orchestration or CI/CD is a plus

- Our Working Students in Germany receive a monthly salary of €1,566 for a 20-hour/week contract, €1,253 for a 16-hour/week contract, and €1,400 for an internship position.
