Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Client Operations Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions for our Enterprise customers. They will utilize their expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, container orchestration, and networking to optimize and maintain the cloud environments for the Frontline Product Suite. The ideal candidate will also have experience with databases to ensure efficient and reliable data storage in the cloud, Kubernetes orchestration, helm chart deployments, cloud security best practices, and excellent time management and communication skills.
- Experience working in close customer collaboration paired with excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels
- Proven ability to understand the big picture and quickly comprehend complex relationships in dynamic organizations
- Collaborate with our professional services team and customers to understand their infrastructure requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Work with databases like MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MS-SQL server to ensure efficient and reliable data storage in the cloud.
- Use infrastructure as code tools to automate cloud deployments.
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, cost efficiency, and security.
- Use a structured troubleshooting approach to identify and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes environments to support application deployments.
- Troubleshoot and configure network settings on-prem or in cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless application deployment and integration in the cloud.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure requirements are met.
- Part of the on-call rotation team.
Requirements
- Flexible working hours as well as domestic and international travel (up to 25%).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), preferably Azure certified.
- Strong proficiency with Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Strong proficiency with bash and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MS SQL.
- Experience with container orchestration, preferably Kubernetes.
- Experience with deploying and troubleshooting a microservice based application. (Container registry, helm charts, image manipulation and debugging pods)
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting and configuring network settings in local or cloud platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, time management and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written English.
