About the role
TeamViewer is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) Team Manager to lead our APAC region's SDR team. As an integral part of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our sales pipeline across the Asia-Pacific region by managing a team of highly motivated SDRs.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) located across the APAC region. Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing training to ensure individual and team success.
- Collaborate with regional sales leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive SDR strategy aligned with overall sales objectives. Continuously refine processes, tactics, and campaigns to optimize lead generation and pipeline development efforts.
- Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for the SDR team, and actively monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Drive the generation of high-quality sales leads and opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and other lead generation tactics.
- Collaborate closely with regional sales leadership, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of SDR activities with broader sales and marketing initiatives. Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork across departments.
- Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of SDR campaigns and initiatives. Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics, identify trends, and communicate results to senior leadership.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sales development and lead generation. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing sales teams, preferably in a technology or software sales environment.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation techniques, and sales pipeline management best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages spoken in the APAC region (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) is a plus.
