This role will provide a broad range of legal services to the NORAM and LATAM regions, as well as other TeamViewer offices around the globe, in partnership with the global team. This position provides legal advice and support to internal teams, reviews and edits policies and procedures, drafts contracts, legal correspondence and other documentation, and assesses legal risks to the business.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide sound legal advice and legal support to US and global teams

  • Negotiate and draft a variety of legal contracts and documents (including but not limited to, SaaS, licensing (EULA), technology, vendor, and partner agreements) that align with core business values, applicable polices and regulatory requirements

  • Support privacy and compliance policies and program

  • Shape and maintain compliance with corporate/global business needs

  • Partner with internal teams to provide input on projects, processes, business development activities and strategies in support of both regional and global business needs

  • Assist and manage, as needed, litigation proceedings in the Americas

  • Support other legal areas such as IP, employment and benefits, disputes and corporate governance

 

Requirements:

 

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and support multiple departments simultaneously

  • Collaborative style and team player

  • Engaging demeanor and good business judgment to effectively work with internal teams

  • Attention to detail and processes

  • Travel Requirement - Up to 15%

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials and member of a state bar in good standing

  • 3+ years (and 7+ years for Senior role) relevant and applicable experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department

  • Experience with software contract negotiation

  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and cybersecurity issues preferred

  • Multi-national business experience preferred
